What an agentic loop is
An agentic loop is a system that runs one job continuously, on its own: it perceives, reasons, plans, acts, checks the result, and repeats — until the job is done or it hits something it shouldn't decide alone. When that happens, it escalates to a human. Ordinary automation runs a one-off rule; an agentic loop keeps working, checks the result, and decides its next step itself.
